Hello i was living in canada for 2 years before pr card and after pr card 2 years i m here , after c-6 will apply am i eligible to apply ? Cause before we had rules for any years you live in canada before it will apply 1 year , what about now?
When Bill C-6 comes into effect, you will be able to apply for Citizenship right away considering that you have three years spent in Canada by that time you send in the application (every day you spent in Canada before you got your PR will be considered as 1/2 day to a max count of 1 year) plus 2 years after getting your PR, to a total of three years.

I spent literally one hour yesterday to write a long overview in this thread right here
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/bill-c6-messages-between-the-hoc-and-the-senate-facts-only-t488982.0.html
It also includes some time estimates.
Please read it. It is very exhausting to read the same question over and over again. You are like the 1,000th person who asks this.
Thanks dear Spyfy for your hard work. I really appreciate your work and contribution to this thread. It is hard for you to answer everyone's questions which are almost the same. if any member of the thread hear any news or update regarding the bill C-6 he/she can post it in this thread. Looking forward to see this bill become law as soon as possible. thanks again Mr.Spyfy
