Such a gooooood day!
I thought it would be too late for me to be included in bill c-6.
I am sure the bill will be implemented by Canada day. The Liberals have strong incentives to show the implementation of bill c6 as their big accomplishment.
We just have about 10 days to complete our applications!

more like 3 months- but I agree with your overall point...for a large chunk of people- it would cut down the wait by 6 months- 1 year...so a few months wait is easily bearable!

[sigh] I was cut off by C-24 by a week and a half back in 2015, and was going to apply September 30, 2017 after fulfilling all those conditions. Now they'll move it back to 3/5 plus pre-PR right when I finally become eligible again.

At least I'll be able to apply the first day with a heck of a cushion now, instead of counting days. Just hope the backlog is not horrendous.
