It would go back to HOC only if they vote in favour i.e. to *pass* the amendment. HOC will then consider it and negotiate with the Senate (part of the ping-pong) process. I don't believe it goes back to the HOC if Senate votes it out.
Oh yes, but as you can see with other bills, the HoC decisions on amendments are super fast. Usually completed the following day.
Please use the right terminology guys. Because "parliament" means both Senate and the House.

Yes, it should be speedy, especially since the HOC consists of Liberals, primarily. She could be hinting at one of two things...Either she is giving us the worst case scenario in terms of time, or she's playing on the assumption that it's how long it would take if the amendment passes the vote in Senate, then goes to HOC for consideration, and then ping pongs before it is mutually agreed on by the HOC and the Senate and then receives Royal Assent.

from this stage , anything would be possible .
But since sen harder has adjourned the debate , he consulted with the government if this amendment would be acceptable within c6 .
Even though the amendments are so needed , i don't think it will fit within c6 itself . It should be presented in a different bill . Remember that Jenny Kwan during the HoC has presented such amendments and ended up being out of scope . The amendments offered by Sen McCoy are too thorough to be inserted , it could easily fit a new bill , even though the amendments are good .
If they are approved they will go to the HoC for approval , usually that process is super quick as mentioned earlier , 1-2 days .
If not , it will go straight to 3rd reading for final vote. And from there , it "could" be wrapped up quickly .

Philosopher ;D :P
The amendment was introduced by liberals upon request from ndp

Libs senators were asked by government members to introduce this amendment

But hope they will vote for all amendments at once then debate the whole bill

Conclusion if this amendment passed by vote, it a big sign that the bill will pass debate too

Hope not. Voting in favor for amendments will cost us one extra step. No urgency for amendments right now

Skipped for today.................. Clearly means, the government is delaying C-6 as Sen. Harder is the one who adjourned the debate yesterday.
