This is a democracy and not a dictatorship. The people opposing this bill deserve that they are getting explained by the majority why that majority supports it. That is the whole point of parliament.
I find it interesting that people who discuss language amended most are themselves not very eloquent in English lol
WOW even Cons is supporting the bill! It may even pass without the need of voting.
Seems like the bill will be voted today as short debates are happening. So if questioning does not go long this bill will be voted today

I understand your point... As proponent of democracy, concurring the decisions made by the elected body, that is the House of Commons, make most sense, specially at this stage when this bill took its time in Senate! (Again just my personal opinion
The way each senator is speaking briefly, implies a voting is going to happen today...
I don't really find it that surprising. They are, after all, the ones who have experienced first hand to be judged by their language skills in a second language.
