What are you basing this on?I think this bill will never see the light , HOC will send it a day before break , senates will hold it and send it back before Christmas break and so on ..... I wish I'm wrong .
Just like real life, some people are optimistic while others are pessimistic and still others are pragmatic... at the end of the day our comments, no matter how we feel, will not change anything. There are things in life that we can't control. Sometime you have to stay away from these forums to maintain your sanity.one pessimistic opinion can make stresse in all the forum for nothing, tske it easy guys chiillll
Yep, patience is required for sure. I just wake up in the morning [which is "always" a good thing], check off another "in Canada day". Browse this forum to wake up [don't drink coffee], go about my day, check this forum, go home do stuff and fall asleep. Pretty much "rinse and repeat" until I hit the 4 years or get an early present of a passed c-6. Nothing you can do about it, just enjoy the day and be pleasantly surprised or mildly disappointed with the process.Just like real life, some people are optimistic while others are pessimistic and still others are pragmatic... at the end of the day our comments, no matter how we feel, will not change anything. Dear Minister xxx,
Thanks to your office for taking the time to read my letter, I am a [ENTER RIDING] resident.
I am writing to you to request that you help progress bill c-6 which will allow lawful permanent residents to become citizens within a swifter time frame (3 of the past 5 years, as opposed to 4 of the past 6) amongst other more important measures such as a hearing prior to revocation.
Under the proposed laws ... [explain why this is important to you]
The bill is now over a year since it was introduced. I appreciate your hands were tied by a hostile senate, however I would suggest now is the time to lobby your colleagues and the NDP to help achieve a win for your government.
Most importantly, please remember that the delay of the passage of this bill has an affect on people's lives who want to be a part of this great country and will allow them to continue to contribute to the prosperity.
Please feel free to reach out to me on this email address or .[PHONE NUMBER]
Thanks for your consideration - looking forward to your reply.
Sincerely

I can feel your pain guys. I am also in the same boat as your's. This bill is very crucial for people who are PR based on protected person status.wish i can help u bro, we are in the same boat and am sure c6 reached the final step, and for the one who say that c6 won't see the light, i can tell him it's better for him to turm off the light and sleep
Seriously, not being able to go see you family in 9 years is just nightmare. Even I thought I have travel doc, but I cant go to my home country, and everywhere I need to go outside of Canada I need to apply for visa, which means chances are very low to get one.wish i can help u bro, we are in the same boat and am sure c6 reached the final step, and for the one who say that c6 won't see the light, i can tell him it's better for him to turm off the light and sleep
