BGC changed to 'In Progress'

hi everyone...

my background check status changed to in progress a week ago. it was not needed at this time before this change.

what are the possible outcomes? i have read in many threads that it is followed by PPR email...but obviously that is not always the case? i'm getting so anxious...i can't concentrate on anything. following is my timeline:

ITA: 27th Nov
AOR: 23rd Jan
Medicals: Passed
BGC: Not needed at this time (28th jan); In Progress (13th May)

Change of BGC status to "in progress" is normal. You will probably get a verification call during your background check. It takes some time between BGC change and receiving PPR. Time taken depends on your other details in terms of where you are applying from and under which category. Stay positive

I'm on the same boat. Mine changed 12 days ago. But I recently read something that helped me a little: "Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it doesn't take you anywhere". So hang in there pal and lets hope our time comes soon ('cause that's really all we can do at this point).
