Hi,
I know that this is an old posting.I had an experience last week.Thought of informing others.I applied for a data entry job on indeed and got a reply that the post was filled. But they have a financial manager post for me.
Their customers will send fund to my bank account through Interac E transfer. For that I should have a personal bank account with banks like TD,BMO etc.I receive that money then take 5% commission and send the rest to my employer by western union money transfer. They are offering 1800 CAD salary + commission. The monthly transaction will be between 14000 CAD to 90000 CAD.
The company is in Russia and they are shipping building materials to Canada. They have a web site.Product etc.Every thing looks authentic.
But I felt red flag.My first doubt was whether they are trying to avoid some kind of tax.Or make black money white.I don't want to do anything illegal. So didn't respond.Later when I checked online I got feedbacks of similar scams.
They will send you cheque .You deposit it in your back account.Bank will clear the cheque. You then send the money to employer through western union. After few days bank will inform that the cheque bounced because there was no fund.
But this was the case few yearsbback. Now they are telling Interac E transfer. As far as I understand there wont be any cheque bouncing or no fund for Interac E tranfer. So what is the catch?Any idea? Please advise.
Thank You
