Hello everyone,

I recently immigrated to Canada via spousal sponsorship from my wife, Although i am still waiting on my PR Card. Can i now apply to sponsor my parents? Do i have to work for a year before i apply to show the money i make? Can my wife sponsor them and I co Sign, both my wife and I make good money ( I think both of us over the Low end threshold)? I immigrated from the UK. Does anyone have a any advice where i should go from here?

Thank

Andrew

You have to sponsor. Your wife can co-sign to help you meet the minimum income requirement.

If your wife alone has sufficient income, you can apply to sponsor straight away. If not, you'll have wait until you have a Canadian tax return showing your income before you apply.

This is the application kit you need:

Can my husband, who recently sponsored me, cosign my application to sponsor my parents even if the 3 years of undertaking due to my own sponsorship have not passed? I just can't find the answer to this anywhere.
