No right answer here Megha. Depends a lot on your priorities and preferences.

for example, if you have kids, you may wanna research school districts and settle accordingly. You should factor things like commute, how much you wanna pay for rent, crime rates, demographics, average income of the people in the city and other criteria that are important to you in your decision.

You also want to consider weather and lifestyle. Ontario is fast paced and big city with really hot summers and really cold winters. Nova Scotia is small and slow paced. Vancouver has the best weather so load of outdoors.

Vancouver very expensive. Toronto close second.

If you have options I would spend lots of time researching based on what you are looking for in life. Many different options. Also realise that your life will likely change dramatically in a new country. Your priorities will change. Your views will change.

Good luck. The journey is fun if you make it so

Vancouver the best weather? Well if you like rain. I come from a rainy place and honestly the only thing i would not like to live in Vancouver is because the rain. I prefer colder and dryer.

I prefer rain over -1 to -30C. :)

Toronto rains too!

Everywhere rains... haha i mean like one/two month raining everyday

Whether you like rain or not, if you prefer more moderate temperatures, Vancouver is tops, Halifax second.
Economically however Vancouver is better than Halifax. More expensive in Vancouver than Halifax though.

If temperature does not matter and you care about economics, Toronto is a great place. Though that will come at a cost to lifestyle. Commutes are crazy. Lots to do though if you have the time... Big if unfortunately

If you are looking for a city that is more tolerant Montreal. Temperature sucks and better if you can speak french.

Just my perspective. Good luck

I wish. Halifax NS (second best) Cost of living is great, weather is reasonable, though winters still suck.
