I will be moving to Windsor very soon with my children, I got admission to University of Windsor, and Ive also got study permit. Please can anyone advise on the part of Windsor that will be best for a young family...little children.

I have heard that near Univ of Windsor is not so good, how true is this.
Thanks

Hi I live in Windsor for last 1 year. Area near University of Windsor is good for young children. I have 2 school going kids thats why I can understand your concern. Windsor divided in into 3 area south very good, west near university good and central downtown not good. West is convenient for you as it is nearby your university. You can find 1 or 2 bed room apartments rent ranging from 650 to 800. Thanks.

So, you have to choose if you want to live south of Tecumseh/EC Row from where you have to come by bus to uWindsor (good for children) or live close-by the school from where you can just walk to uWindsor (not so good for children).

FYI, I was a former uWindsor student and lived within walking distances from the school (didn't see many kids around).
