best option for commuting travel-Toronto

Can anyone please guide what will be the cheapest rental car or lease option of car for commuting in Toronto. I heard insurance cost is very high but there is some visa cards which offers discount. Any idea what and how it is done??

The rental car price in TO is anywhere from $20-40 per day plus an additional $20-30 for the insurance. Some credit cards (such as VISA GOLD) offer car rental insurance. So if you are making your reservation with your gold visa card you can decline the rental agency's insurance and use your credit card insurance.
as for the rental price, there are different companies (enterprise, discount, etc) you can check their rates online.

You can not use credit card insurance if you lease a car.

Also credit cards only offer insurance of up to 21 days a year.
