Best bank to open an account?

Scotiabank's Scene debit card is not visa/mastercard. so you can't use it online AFAIK. (correct me if im wrong guys)

if you can get credit card, then you can use this card online. (scotiabank doesn't have mastercards)

i have scotiabank's visa CC and capitalone's mastercard CC. im using both online and on local stores.

But, at scotiabank website, the SCENE VISA (http://www.scotiabank.com/ca/en/0,,106,00.html) shows the VISA flag on the corner, it seems to have the 16 digits and all other info that need to use over the net, only testing or asking to the bank to know if it works.

Also, there is the Golden one (http://www.scotiabank.com/ca/en/0,,102,00.html), it is a Gold service with no annual fee, so probably it is hard to get in a first momment, but if SCENE VISA wont work over the net, I will ask for one of those (it's free to ask) and of course will show funds enough to sustain my goals.
