I chatted with purolator around 1 pm EST and they said the guy is still in line for delivery. I got email for delivery confirmation around 2 pm EST stating it was delivered at 9:45 am EST . I don't know what's happening.
As Purolator employees are governed by a lot stricter corporate policies of how long can they wait in queue etc where as the Purolator Same day subcontractors on the other hand pretty much live for this day every year.. I would chose them over the 9am service anyday.scylla said:There's an explanation higher up that might explain things. Sub-contracting effectively...
I have the same signatory - however, mine says it was delivered at 6:31 am. UPS customer service agent told me that 6:31am is the time that the courier arrived at the centre and he was pretty sure that the courier guy went on queue until around 8am because they will not receive the packages until after 8am.srbhrn said:I used UPS and it was delivered at 740 AM and received by ADUSEI
anyone else got same signatory ??
hmm..so the ups knew that they have to deliver only after 8 am....cmextreme said:I have the same signatory - however, mine says it was delivered at 6:31 am. I just got the following line added before the delivery line:randebutler said:This just showed up on my tracking info. Wasn't there yesterday when I printed off the delivery confirmation.
Only courier's can drop off, not the public. I would have flown out there myself if I could. So the best bet is to stand in line with your application yourself? I'm surprised no one camped out with their application.
yes I did. I got a call in the afternoon. Don't remember the time. but some time after 1 cause they had to investigate.Quoi said:From what you wrote, I'm guessing you used the 9am delivery service?
That's what I used too - part of the 9.43 batch.
What time did you get the call about the delivery before 9am?
Thanks! So even if they ate lying, it would mean it was still there before the end of the business day... I guess its better than the next day...aryan15 said:yes I did. I got a call in the afternoon. Don't remember the time. but some time after 1 cause they had to investigate.
That is not true. Im not local. I had to send my application a week before to vw express so they can make it on time for me. Anyone can do the same.Aquakitty said:I don't have a horse in the race here, but this is pretty messed up that only people local to the area really have a chance to get their application in.

I got a receipt confirmation from Canada/express post that my documents was delivered Jan 4 10:47 am by mahmood, can I rely on that? Thanks.MissFrowz said:Thanks for this information! It is very much appreciated. I guess going forward, local couriers are the best guarantee.
If you have to use a local courier like that, maybe the CIC website should explain it? I expect most would use Canada Post, the country's official mail service. The whole system is extremely unfair.eurmione said:That is not true. Im not local. I had to send my application a week before to vw express so they can make it on time for me. Anyone can do the same.
You can't go yourself. Couriers only.Aquakitty said:I don't have a horse in the race here, but this is pretty messed up that only people local to the area really have a chance to get their application in.

You don't have to use a local courier. The big couriers just didn't get there early.ta2 said:If you have to use a local courier like that, maybe the CIC website should explain it? I expect most would use Canada Post, the country's official mail service. The whole system is extremely unfair.
