I need a consultation session to decide if my parents should re-apply for the new PR or appeal to reinstate the expired PR. Bellissimo and Matkowsky charge the same amount of consultation fee. Which one should I go to.
I guess most law firm will recommand appeal because they can charge more. I only need a honest and professional opinion.

I don't have a recommendation for a lawyer.

However PGP sponsorship is not accepting new submissions at this time and we have no idea when it will reopen. You may be waiting many many years if you go the route of reapplying.

I went through something similar when my friend's visa was expiring. She consulted a couple of lawyers, and while they both charged about the same, one was super upfront about the appeal process and the potential costs involved. The other seemed more interested in pushing for the appeal, which made me skeptical.

I’d suggest going with the one who feels more honest about the situation, rather than the one who might just want to rack up fees. It’s like the time I heard about tort lawsuits being filed for misleading product ads. People just want transparency!

Matkowsky has been a hit or miss in my experience. Lawyer gave us useless information and wasted our time going on and on about options that clearly don't apply to us. It was a waste
