I applied for my husband for spousal sponsorships September 2017. We already went through medical and The interview process in March 2018. The officer that interviewed him told him that he passed the interview and it was going through background check. We reached 12 months September 2018. I tried to email the Visa office and they tell me that it is with background check and there’s no update they can give me. We are reaching 15 months and not sure what to do. I should include that my husband used to work in General Secuirty so maybe that is why it is taking longer? He has an Impeccable record, clean police report that i included.
Are they behind on all files? What can i do to get an update?
