Being asked for medical examination TWICE

Hi, I wonder if anyone has similar experience?
I've been asked for medical examination for our parents sponsorship immigration, which we submitted on Jan 2016, we provided ME result in time and once on the cic website it showed PASSED.
But recently we got request from CIC that asked us to take ME again.

Is that because it's almost 1 year from last ME and it is going to expire?

If we take this one, how should we do if it expire again, due to the slow processing.

Medicals expire in a year which is probably why you have been asked for a re medical.

But if CIC holds the process for another year, does that mean we will have to keep doing ME, and paying???? What a sh*t...... It's not cheap...

Looks like it even on the spousal applications from past years. Several have been asked for a re medical coz it expired and their applications weren't processed then!

They are looking to finalize your application which is why they are requesting the medical again.

Again, what you're experiencing is normal. Medicals are only valid for a year.

I did medicals 3 times and police checks 4 times still waiting for visa it is now more then 3 years
