hey
just a quick question. does anyone know if being in college would get a refusal?? my husband is in his last year of college and some friends informed us that this means they would refuse him right away. this is not an issue for us as he can transfer to any school in canada. thanks.

If this is a straight family-class spouse sponsorship, then no, him being a student does not matter to immigration at all.

what aaron said is right. A friend of mine was student when his wife sponsored him under inland class. He is already a permanent resident of Canada. Make sure you put enough proof of your relations with your application.

Good luck
