Hello,

Almost ready to submit but really need your insights on some issues. I looked around the forum but information is sometimes contradictory. Could seniors please clarify following moments?

1. Passport. Some say here that CiC wants to see all pages with markings, although description only asks for BIO page. Would submitting bio page only be sufficient?

2. It says PASSPORT - MULTIPLE (REQUIRED). Is this a generic language? I have only one passport but I have a different country of residence (on student visa). Do I need to provide anything else in addition to my Passport?

3. National ID. Do I have to include my US Drivers License (I am in the US on student visa).

4. PoF. If bank issues a letter with current balance and 6 month average, do I still need to provide complete account statement with all transactions?

Thank you very much for your help!

A: Yes

A: Thats a generic statement. What do you mean anything else...there is whole list of supporting documents (along with LoE) that are required. It is part of your document checklist.
3. National ID. Do I have to include my US Drivers License (I am in the US on student visa).
A:No, not required. But if your have a residence visa of some country other that country of origin, please do attach.
4. PoF. If bank issues a letter with current balance and 6 month average, do I still need to provide complete account statement with all transactions?
A:No, That along with other CIC requirement related to bank document is enough.
Thank you very much for your help!

Thanks for your response. By "anything else" I meant anything proving my student visa status in the (US) country of residence.

Thanks, but many things are different between CiC Express Entry and OINP.

One more question, in the profile when it asked how much money I plan to bring with me to Canada I put 33,000. The account balance and 6 month average are gonna be less, around 28,000, which is still a lot more than the minimum requirement (18,000).

Do you thing its gonna be a problem?

Keep the amount in the profile uniform with what evidence you can show now. Later, anyway you can update the the information, if you can show more proof then. But since you meet the requirement there is no need to update to later, unless you want to.

Thanks. Do you guys think its appropriate to change it back and forth?

I guess the question is, is the amount you first say you're gonna have with you binding?

What is binding is the amount of funds as per the requirement, anything extra does not matter. But to be on the safer side, do not declare funds for which you do not have documentary evidence.
