Before landing in Canada

Hey there,
I will be landing in Alberta by 2013 March 30,so | would like to know my preparations activity to get a job in IT.
i have 5 yrs of experience in software testing,certified ISTQB tester, and a informatica developer.

it would be great,in case anyone would suggest for my preparation activity..would be really helpful.

Can anyone suggest me regarding job openings in retail and in HR ?Which province has got more opportunities in above said areas?

Hi Madhu,

I don't know other provinces except Ottawa where I'm living. Retail is the most demanding occupation in town. There is almost every week job event in retail.

Regarding HR, I did not see yet any immigrant continue his/her profession after landing. A friend of mine, HR manager of a multinational in her home country, is following 2-yesr course of nursing to find new career path.

I think you need to see if there is any other certification which is valid for canada and take up that before you land in canada.
Do keep us updated on your success story once you land there.
