Before coming to Canada,understanding Canada is very important

Hi Guys,
I still rememeber my 2006-2011 days when everyday I do follow up with my immigration agency when my visa will be issued.Everyday the same reply they stopped processing the old backlog cases.Eventually in 2011 when I filed my application myself after doing lot of research I got my visa in 5months.I still remember my old days when in my office my collegues told me -where r u now in Canada or in India.I opened google map and copy paste any Canadian address and start looking how is the country.I mean to say though my physical body is India but my mind already reached Canada at that time.But after Canadian Govt issued visa ,I saw came to practical world that I have no job in Canada.For the last 5 years what I was in my mind was simply a dream and emotions.I started applying lot of jobs but I got no answer from anybody.I understand something going wrong.Either my qualification or my resume is not correct.May be my qualification or experience is not sufficient.I landed in year 2012 alone even donnt know where to stay or what to eat.After landing in 2-3 days time somebody told me that experiences from Third world country that may be education or work experience is simply garbage.Its better not to think and start doing survival jobs.To do that I require social insurance number .I had no phone nor laptop to see GPS or where exactly service canada .I was lucky on that day when I just asking one old european man where is the nearest service canada.He gave me directions which seems to me will take 2 hours waling as I had no coins to give it to TTC/Bus.I was walking,suddenly I saw the old man calling me from his car inside -'My boy,come inside my car,I will take you to service canada".I got lot of help from that gentle man,I got my SIN number.Now I applied for some jobs but with no result.I wored in bakery,paint factory,cabinet making factory,plastic factory etc.Lot of uncertainties,lot of pain,lot of frustration.Where ever I was going agencies told me how much weight can lift as today I have job where you have lift 30-50 lbs .Very hard jobs I still remember.After landing in the first week I went to one plastic factory where the work pace is very fast,I failed to process it so fast and supervisor came to me and shouted on me where u worked before .Why agency send u to us .I told my supervisor that is my 6th day in Canada and my first job too.I never worked this type of job before.Then she understand my situation and told me sorry .After that I told everything about myself to my supervisor and he was impressed and told me I will told your agency to send you everyday.

I still my bakery job that I went outside my city.Its so terrible that I cannot work more than 4 hours.Next day I went to cabinet factory outside city .I saw lot of white guys working.One of them said me welcome and start doing cabinet making.Its not so heavy job ,I enjoyed working there.It was a really easy job.In the meantime I had done my credentials assessment from WES and got educational qualification as per canadian standard.I started applying jobs in my sector .I had no voicemail in my mobile and for that I missed Interview from One Canadian employer that I applied for.Good package approx-30,000 CAD.Even I was doing survival jobs I had still in mind that I have to find out a good job or will go back to school .In Nov-2015 ,I got a one year contractual job-obviously survival job but pay rate is better than the agency jobs.My job hour was from 7-3am.It takes approx 2 hours to reach that warehouse.Its a big ware house with lot of building supplies items.From electrical,plumbing,kitchen sets,bathroom sets,paints,doors,windows,false ceilings etc.My duty was to help truck drivers to put all items in the trucks.After that placing different items in different racks,numbering that items.I did well and for that my owner gave me promotion and give me a position in order picking dept where I have to be very cautious.I thought how to come out from these jobs and how can I join any white collar job.I gossiped with different categories of people in my company and outside .I try to follow their way of speaking,eating style ,including their preferences.

In the meantime I started doing online course .Its sometimes very difficult to do studies after coming back from hard work.But I did hours after hours to complete professional courses.I completed LLQP in my first attempt and Mutual fund licence course in less than a year.I started applying but with no result.In the meantime I was so frustrated that one day I thought I should leave my survival job and I did that.My owner was too good . He told me what will you do now.I told him I will find out a good job as per my skills.Everybody supported me for taking right decision.There were lot of european guys who worked with me and I really enjoyed in working them.They told me dont get sucked in survival jobs.Do something in your own field,you have the ability and we are sure you can do it.Donnt forget us after getting a good job.I still remember them and start doing gossips whenever I have time.

After leaving survival jobs I contacted agencies those who provide office jobs .One day in Nov-2013 I went to One agency in downtown.After reviewing my resume they told me are you interested in doing data entry job in Bank.My answer was yes.They told me I have to give exam and if I pass they will send me Bank for further interview.I passed every level and got a job in bank through agency. I was told to run macros in excel and also downloading documents ,sorting them,and sending them to respective department.Contract was for 2 months.I did well and supervisor was really pleased at my performance.My contracted ended on Dec 26 .I was really worried what will happen to me.I had good relation with everybody in bank.When everybody was enjoying on 25 th Dec,my contract ended.I wme as so disappointed.Some of my Canadian collegues prayed to Jesus for so that I again come back to Bank.Somebody cried and requested my supervisor to increase my contract period.My supervisor was too good.She told me I will do something so that you again come back to the same job.New year started and I still remember I had no job but have confidence that I will do better ,I will find out something.Started doing CSC online course so that I can do better .

On 6th Jan I again got a call from Bank and this time got a job as filer.I created excel and learnt the process so well so that I provide the file in right time to right dept.Everybody was pleased and I got achiever award from Bank because everybody recommended my name.I contract was renewed and management recommended to give a position for Transaction processing officer with greater pay. Whenever banks want to give overtime they called me first before offering others.They were so impressed in my performance I got second time promotion in another 2 months.They were not baised.I proved them I can do everything or more than their full time employees.Banks they have terrible pressure.Though I liked everybody in Bank but I want to excel more and want to explore stock broking and investment jobs where I can show my excellence.

In the meantime I got 80% in Canadian Securities Course and started applying for some other jobs.Luckily some investment company after reviewing my qualification and experience they called me for interview.They are really nice people .They just wanted to see my attitude rather than my education and experience.They give value to my experience.It was 2 round interview .They asked me typical questions regarding typical customer services.After that all that rounds I got the job .I learnt a lot from this job.I worked with white people ,they are very sober but they have different way of behaving.I always gossip with them so that I understand what exactly Canadian culture means.I tried to explore their fooding habits and how different is that from my native one.I discuss with them regarding their vacations,their families ,even their views in sports or politics.Sometimes when I go back to my earlier days I think I started from scratch and today I reached here.I want to reach much higher.Its attitude and drive that will take you levels after levels.Anyway that "s.the end of my story.I know its boring but real.Its for them who thinks that life is stagnant in Canada.Its for those who wants to excel in Canada.Its for them who is already came or coming with new dream.Canada is dream country and I love staying in Canada.Sometimes I started walking in downtown taliking in anyone of the roads and just enjoy my walking,chatting with different people ,understanding them.

You can register in Randstad Canada.They provide really good jobs.For your wife ,health insurance claims adjuster/examiner jobs are lucrative.Medical Insurance Claims examiners salary range between 50k-80K.
