Hi all,

How do we know if the application received by CIO. AOR takes about 1 to 3 months and only confirmation we have is the tracking message from courier.

Is there a specific way we can check on that?

I sent my application with express mail and it came with a tracking code. That's how "I" knew mine was received by the office

Guess the charge on your credit card will give you absolute confirmation that they received it

There are two stages of "your files being received" by CIO:

First - like others said, if you are able to track your envelope, you are able to know that it has been received by CIO.
- this usually takes a week or two depends on where you mailed your files from

Second - the "official" notice of your file being received by CIO is when they send you an email verifying that it has been received and they'll include your AOR with your file number as a confirmation and you will be able to look up the status of your application on e-cas.
- this takes about 1-3 months ( or longer)
