BECOME ENEMPLOOYED while I'm wainting response to my PR Application under PNP

Currently, I'm working in a Job position Which I hate deeply, and for that reason, I'm thinking to quit in order to find another job which fix better with my background. I can't look for a new one meanwhile I working, that job take from me too time, from 7:30 to 4:30pm M-F and other main reason I have negative feelings It's don't help me to improve my English.
The question is: Is it possible being unemployed for a while (1 month) meanwhile I'm in process to receive my Permanent Resident? I applied under PNP (Manitoba) 8 months ago. CIC already asked me for the second fee (Right for Permanent Resident Fees) but I've not received yet the mail asking me for Medical Immigration Test, I imagine in a couple of weeks the ask me for them.

thanks for your response. It's no only wait a month. when CIC ask me for medical immigration test, It's possible wait for another 4 months up to they made a decision.

I have to be patient...
