Before submitting your application for ECA through WES please verify your university/institution is in the WES list or not.
if not means you will get the institution status as "Non-Recognized" in the report & Canada never consider your credential from non-recognized institution and we cannot claim points with the same.

Dear Experts,

I am writing you as I am planning to apply for Educational Credential Assessment through WES organisation. There are few aspects of this application I have doubt about and if you can please help me by clarifying them, it would be very helpful.

I have done both my Bachelor and Masters studies from India and the relevant universities have already been contacted for transcripts and I would be receiving them very soon in a sealed envelope. However, none of the univesrities would take the responsibilities to have them sent to WES directly as outlined by WES website. In that case, can I have the photocopies of the marksheets attested by the Controller of Examinations or Registrar's Office sent to WES too in an official envelope along with the transcripts which I would be receiving from them. I am just trying to ensure that the documents sent to WES are all correct which do not lead any delays whatsoever.

Also, I find that the International Courier Service fees of CAD $85.00 is quite expensive for me. So I would probably opt for the Standard Delivery. But in case, those reports get lost in post what would by my options.

I am looking forward to hear from you.

It says you can send sealed envelope to WES by yourself. Also I would suggest you to opt for international courier since it will be faster (delivery in 3-4 working days) and moreover you can track it online.

WES QUOTE
"Request for all mark sheets to be sent directly to WES by the institution responsible for conducting the examinations
-OR-

You may have photocopies of your original mark sheets attested and dated by the Controller of Examinations or Registrar’s Office. Please request for the attested photocopies to be placed in an official sealed envelope and have the envelope returned to you to forward to WES.

NOTE: Mark sheets attested by persons outside the Controller of Examination or Registrar's Offices, such as individual professors or external notary publics, will NOT be accepted.

Me and one of my friend is going to apply through WES soon but stuck after getting this information, good thing is we did not paid yet.
Our country is not on their list as well as university!
Are you confirm about that? Did you seen any person got report written "Non-recognized"?

Dear Members,
I did MBA from pakistan and ACCA (degree awarded by ACCA body UK) ? Should i request sealed degrees from both to be sent for ECA ???

Please also advise good or reasonal assessment body which is flexible and respond in quick time ???

Does WES only evaluates degree holder? how about the Diploma Holders :(

They will do for Diploma also
 
I am trying to do a degree equivalency on their website but doesnt allow me to select number of years studies which is 2 :( . My university/college is on their list but I dont know what would be my equivalent.
 
Hello Everyone,

I have a confusion with the ECA from WES, I have done a 4 year Bachelor of Engineering from India. So from these 4 years of semester studies, I have 8 semester marksheets. However unfortunately, I got one ATKT(back) during my 5th semester.
Does WES require all the marksheets including ATKT(back) or only passed semester marksheets.

Do we need to send Transcripts or Marskheets Xerox...

Also do we need to get the WES Request form attested as well along with the other documents with the University Registrar or COE

Please may someone help me on this query??
 
Hi,

Do you guys have any idea whether to submit all the degrees for verification to WES. Eg., 10th, +2, bachelors and Masters.

OR

submitting the highest degree transcripts will be enough?

Now that you have mentioned WES, please advise on the following:
the only thing that my immigration file to be ready is WES report. I badly need to submit it before Dec 24( before Entry Express starts)
Is there a way to speed up delivery of report. Estimated time is February 1. My documents were all received two days ago. Any extra charge???Time is such a factor to me now.
