Hi everyone,

I've been doing some research regarding BC PNP. But would like to get some advise from here and make sure my understanding is correct. Any help is appreciated.

My situation: I graduated from a Canadian University this April. I have a bachelor degree and my major is Linguistics. I have been employed as a full-time administrative assistant since this July.
1. Am I eligible to apply PR through BC PNP under international graduate?

2. Does CIC view "administrative assistant" application applying through PNP?(I know that they won't accept NOC 1241 application applying under CEC anymore..)

3. Should I wait until I work fully one year and then send my application to PNP and CIC, or can I start to apply now?(I have been working there 6 months so far)

Thank you for answering my questions.

Yes dear..you are eligible under BCPNP. You should submit your application to BCPNP now if you have full time job offer from your employer.

There is no work experience required for BCPNP.

Best of luck....

Hi everyone,

I am trying to gather documents and fill in applications for BCPNP.
I have a few questions and hope someone can shed some light. :'(

1. Regarding the job offer form, #4 Recruitment summary. My employer told me that they did not post advertisements online or in the newspapers. Instead they went through the resumes they had in file and call up applicants to have interview. How can my employer prove that they did an effort on recruitment? My employer also said that they were in need to fill in the position and I happened to drop my resume during that time and luckily got an interview with them. They interviewed 5 people before me.

2. I am working under my PGWP, and my job title is administrative assistant. Do I need to provide a LMO in order to apply for BCPNP international graduate?

3. "Has the company been refused a LMO for this position, or similar position from Service Canada in the last 12 months?" If my employer did not apply for LMO for this position in the last 12months, how should this question be answered?

Thank you for the help in advanced! I appreciate it.

Thank you lovykaler. I think I got confused with other immigration programs...

It's good to know that I don't need LMO, could you please give me some advice on how my employer can prove that they did an effort on recruitment?

Anyone? :-X

I have one more question...
My supervisor is an accountant and I am under accounting department. I help with account payable and keep record of transactions. My other duties are not accounting related, which includes greeting visitors, taking phone/email messages for supervisor and general manager, order and maintain office supplies..etc.

Will I be required to provide a certified license related to accounting?
