Dear all,

Today I got a BCPNP approval letter as below. With NO restriction on employment condition, can I get open work permit?
Until now, I've been working with closed work permit under the employer.

Employer : xxx
Name of occupation and NOC : xxx
Restrictions on employment : NO

Many thanks,

Many thanks,
You have only obtained one of the requirements for applying for a bridging open work permit at this point. Other requirements are listed here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/prov/bridging.asp

Note the following:
Bridging work permit: eligibility parameters
To be eligible for a bridging work permit, foreign nationals must meet the following requirements:

they are currently in Canada;
they have valid status on a work permit that is due to expire within four months;
they are the principal applicant on an application for permanent residence under the FSWP, the CEC, the FSTP, or the PNP (see note below);
they have received a positive eligibility assessment on their permanent residence application under one of the Economic Class programs above; and
they have applied for an open work permit.

Note: Foreign nationals in the Provincial Nominee Program are eligible if they have provided a copy of the nomination letter issued by the nominating province or territory with their application and there is no indication that employment restrictions exist as conditions of the nomination.

With only the approval letter (with no employment restrictions) you can't yet file an application for a bridging open work permit at this point.
File an application for PR as soon as possible, then wait for the positive eligibility assessment, which is in this case, the AoR from CIO.

I am also BC pnp applicant and be honest you will not get an open work permit. because they have mentioned employer name on your pnp nomination letter.
