Guys,

as far as I know we only need to get FBI fingerprinting done to satisfy PCC requirement. This is where we give them the list of all US addresses (xyz number of States). Then when the report comes, we send it to CIC.

This is the very first time that I hear about individual US States PCC.

Can someone clarify?

I think your point makes sense...

For example:
I was in CT long ago and from the following url for CT's PCC doesn't mention anything on duration of stay & which address(present or CT address) to mention in their pdf.

http://www.ct.gov/dps/lib/dps/reports_and_records/dps-0846-C.pdf

WTF,

I just saw the new info about State PCC.

And we need to get PCC from Arkansas, Oklahoma and Virginia. The Arkansas one is so confusing. I saw the application I need to fill out but I dont get it at all.

the upper part asks for name, mailing address, driver license # and the bottom part asks for signature of the person who asks for PCC, namely myself and there is place for a notary.

So, do I give my present address in Virginia and DL #? Or the old Arkansas adress and I dont even remember the old Arkansas DL #..

Anyways, this is gonna be such a pain....

Do we do the name based search only?

Stands to reason that I cannot do the fingerprinting state search if I am not physically present in the State anymore. This is gonna be a

nightmare for anyone who has to leave the US before getting into CIC process. I cannot even begin to comprehend how will we get

State PCC if we go back to our homecountry. If it goes through the Embassy it will take forever.

Hi all,

I just mailed my application to CIC (AINP) with fingerprint card from FBI and PCC from home country (no state certificate). I didn't check the CIC website for any updates:-( Is there a cutoff/start date for this? I couldn't find any online..I hope I don't get my application back..all this running around is tiring!

Has anyone confirmed with CIC if application sent before Feb 19th,2009 needs to apply for USA State PCCs?
Thanks
Chow

When did AINP office received your app ?

sid,
i am going to wait until i have everything in hand before submitting my application.
you may go ahead and send yours without the state pcc's. its not a bad risk to take since they've just introduced the requirement. jmho.

sid,did you get any File No. OR you got nomination directly?

yes, I got file no on jan 9th.
Congratulations Sid. It seems some of the guys submitted to CIC without PCCs and along with a note that they have applied for PCCs. Check out in trackiit site.
Whats your NOC?

I lived in NJ a few years back and now I live in Texas. According to the info in the website I have to travel to NJ with my wife to get fingerprinted. I'm not even talking about the extra expenses... This is a hassle!!! Is there anybody in the same situation or who knows more information about NJ?

Thanks

Man ,

I just submitted my cic application with the FBI clearance and country PCC. I never saw this new requirement for State PCC.

Folks , do you think my application would be returned . Or do they send a letter requesting for additional documents.
(State PCC) ..

Btw , i need to get state PCC from Illinois ,Michigan and Ohio . None of the states seem clear on the process...

Lord .. give us alll a big break !!!

Best Case: They won't ask for anything. You might just "slip" by.
Worst Case: They will request for State PCC's.

Not too bad, imho.
