Hello all,

For BC PNP, Skilled Immigration - Skilled Worker.

I have 85 points and the draw is currently at 85 points. What is the likelihood that I will receive an invite soon? Is there a way to find out how many people are in the pool and what scores they have? The reason that I ask is that I have 2 months left on my visa. I am considering retaking my English test to improve from a CLB 9 to 10. Or is it worth just waiting if the chances are good that the draw score will reduce.

My job is Hotel Clerk Supervisor NOC 6313. If the job is identified in the top 100 jobs in the BC Labour Market Outlook, I can get 10 extra points. My job is not on the list however Receptionist is, NOC 1414. The job duties relate, can I use this to get more points? Or do the exact job titles have to match? Thank you in advance.

Finally, I only have high school qualifications in the UK (GCSE's). If i get this assessed can I get 4 more points?

Thank you in advance.

Adam.

My answers may be outdated (please correct me if others know more).
Once I applied for BC PNP-International Graduate in 2016 and I got the ITA within 2 weeks.
You can check the scores on previous draws and see if it has been reduced but from what I've seen, it hasn't gone down.
About the NOC, I think it's all dependent on what is written in the job offer and also what has been advertised. Make sure job duties you have and also mentioned in the job offer are in align with the NOC you think you might get more points for.
It's better to have your foreign education(degree/diploma) assessed. No harm in that other than the ridiculous cost of it!
