Hi friend, I have the same question, iam preparing my application forms to apply for the BC exp entry then I see there is colum asking about the funds. Is they want to see a certain amount of dollars or what ever we have in our account is fine?

I have a full time job that pays nearly $40000/year!

Hi Guys,
There is an income threshold each and every applicant has to meet. And may vary from person to person some of the factors used in calculating your income are: Location in BC ( If within the lower mainland your income has to be at list 21,000) although if you have a family members living or intend to immigrate with you. Then the income bracket with be higher depending on the amount of people immigrating under you.

in my opinion, in BC step, you are not mandatory to meet settlement fund requirement, coz you will provide your job offer, it will state that how much income you can earn per year. however, after you get your PNP, in Federal process, you need to show your settlement fund. that is my understanding.
