Applied in December 2014, addendum submitted on 6th July 2015. Still no news. They are supposed to review our application depend on addendum because it means we switch our application from paper to EE PNP. Does addendum actually work?

We applied in Aug'14 and got AOR Aug 20th - 49** on the old stream. We heard from them middle of Sep as we had emailed again asking for an update as it was over the time advised online & a few days later we got an email wanting more info, not sure if it was just coincidence. The timing was weird as 2 weeks later we were coming over to Canada for a 3 week holiday and to sell up as it was taking too long. We visited the PNP office on arrival and were advised they made a decision but couldn't tell us and were told to email our account manager who didn't reply. On our last week the letter turned up in the UK thankfully and our family advised us we were accepted. So we didn't have to sell up after all. We got to Canada just over a week ago with our documents ready to get our work permits and spent 7 hours in immigration. We were not able to get them as we didn't have the IMM5802 letter (offer of employment to a foreign worker) which we explained we have never heard of before and it didn't state in our package from the PNP that we needed anything other than what they had provided. They kept our passports and we were told to come back in a week with our luggage if we didn't have the letter and payment done or to provide an update on the situation. This sure was a shock to the system as this letter was never mentioned anywhere (another stress to the situation). They said it came into effect end of Feb and work have to complete it and make a credit card payment of $230 which we managed to get just in time. The form is now no longer in effect as of the day after we were told at the airport to get the form done in 1 week. We certainly didn't expect this coming back to begin our lives here again. We count ourselves very lucky to be back as we didn't think it was going to happen. I wanted to let you know that there is still hope. Don't give up even though it is very hard as it is worth the wait and be sure to have the online portal done by your work.

Is BC PNP actually processing files ? The way process is going it looks like they actually waiting for our work permits to get expired so they dont have to process as it says we have to maintain our status.. Express entry looks like a nice excuse from them.
BC PNP is frozen not accepting any more applications since 8 months now . from last 8 months I did not see any changed in processing time in fact so many people have to either apply for visitor status or leave the country...
they behaving like they have billions of applications to go through... what was the benefit being International student? the only benefit i see hear is rules changed every now and than as soon as u think now u r eligible to apply some new categories pop up..
there isn't any transparency in processing time and process. it like apply and than wait wait wait then either leave a country or get visitor visa..
It looks like big lol for them !!!
