Thanks bc dreams but am not sure i understand what you mean, am not in canada yet ,but i guess its a standard procedure for an employer to submit their bussiness licences and support docs for proof prior to decisions on nominations.Am not an expert on this ,i guess Daan can be in a position to offer a better answer to this.

I actually confirmed this with the concerned department. they may or may not ask the T4 statement or infact any supporting document outside the checklist to acertain how serious the employer is in supporting your application or if yur employer is financially viable to employ you.

I got my answer by just e-mailing them with in 2 days. Guess its the best way to clear your doubts
cheers

Im just confused regarding the photo, CIC Website in Abu dhabi they told the photo must be staple, but according to others ( Based on the Forum ) do not stample, which one i will use. Kindly explain it to me, why there is some discrepancy from the website of CIC UAE and CIC Canada.

BC PNP Application and Working Visa About to Expire

I did my BC PNP application on december the 15th 2009. On January 6th 2010 received email confirmation of application from PNP office.

My Working Permit is about to expire (April 14th) and I haven't hear from PNP office!, What should I do?? Can I stay in Vancouver after my working visa expires?. My counselor is telling me to make an extension of my work permit now with out PNP nomination to buy me some time. I just want to make things right. I been living in Vancouver for 2 years now, I have an apartment, my car, all my kitchen well equipped, my furniture, everything!!, I have a life here!. Its hard to think that I have to leave in 13 days and get rid of everything!.

Bc guy, please help!, anybody?

You should have just applied for a work permit extension! That's what I did.

Also, after your nomination confirmation you should have received an application for PR under the PNP program. Have you not had this yet? If not, definitely contact the PNP office and tell them you haven't received anything yet.

But apply for an extension of your current work permit ASAP (i.e. get it together and send it out tomorrow). In the mean time you can stay and work until you have received a decision on your extension.

Hey Daan

Where did you applied for your work permit extension???

i got nominated under bc pnp, applied for PR 02 days, work permit expiring Nov-2010. How long does it takes to renew the wp and how early can i apply

Go here for instructions on how to extend your permit:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-worker.asp

It's all on the CIC website :)

I received my BC PNP nomination last March and applied for my pr last May 2010. Does anyone know what's the approximate waiting time to get any sort of acknowledgment from Buffalo? I'm worried that A.) they didn't receive my application or B.) something is wrong and its denied. Also my old passport recently expired and that's what i used on my app. I already have a new passport..Any takers? Daan i'm most interested with your answer..Anyone else have any questions regarding BC PNP just post ur questions and i'll try to reply to it asap..

Since i have applied its been 17 weeks and havent got an answer yet, is there anybody who is into the same situation?

Yeah, i'm 19 weeks now.

They phoned my employer a couple of weeks ago asking a few questions. They said I should hear in the next few days...

It takes 16-20 weeks to get AOR and medicals. Check if your CC(Certified Check) is encashed or not.
