Hi
Congrats to those who got BCPNP . I just got an email that my BCPNP has been approved. :D

Before i got BC PNP, my score was 467 for express entry . Can someone let me know how many additional points do we get for BC PNP ?

I am trying to figure out my total CRS .

Also could someone please let me know how can i update my express entry profile to reflect additional points for nomination. Thanks

Congrats ! You will get 600 points for PNP Approval.

Hi

My CRS score for express entry is 467 . I was hoping to get an ITA on 23 March 2016 draw. I called my immigration agent today .I am so disappointed :-[, i will not get any additional CRS point for getting BC PNP since it was paper based application .

My agent said i can apply at federal level ( which is hell lot slower than the federal express entry -takes around 1 year and by that time my work permit would expire )using BC PNP nomination since this nomination wont give any additional point for express entry. I seriously dont understand the logic of penalizing paper based PNP applicants ( after one long year of wait to get the nomination (March 15-March16)), we can not even use it for express entry -then what is the whole point ).

My work permit will expire in January 17, so i am worried now. Any suggestions are deeply appreciated. Thanks

Hi
I just received my BC PNP (paper based application ) . Now my agent is asking me to pay for federal fees so that he can apply for me ( landing fee + PR application fee).

My question is should i not apply for Federal (nominee applicant paper based PR) , since it takes so much time (more than a year), and just wait for CRS points to drop (currently i have 467 points) so that i can apply express entry which is way much quicker and save money .

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Finally I have some good news I received my nomination yesterday
Applied on 25 Feb,2015
AOR on March 8
Nomination Approval on March 23.

I went to bcpnp office a few days back and I was told to get in touch with them after a month or so just to check on my file status... My file is not even assigned yet...
I applied on March 12th. I don't know when are they going to process my file. Frustrated!!!

I applied on the same day. On Mar.9th, my agent told me my case was started and be prepared to get phone call... however, it's almost been a month, I got nothing yet... I would say their processing speed is much slowerrrrr than we image...
