BC PNP July 2014

Bad news.....bc pnp is done vth it's annual quota of 5500 applications. No more nominations this year. I know it's a bad news for all of us. Brace urself for the next year that too if v r on the same footing vth EE applicants. I request god to prove me wrong but I guess things gonna b the same.
 
Who told you this? They have just stopped taking any new applications as of now but still working on previous submitted applications.
 
Hi,
I need an information on implied status. As if anybody has their work permit expired and before that they have applied for visitor permit extension. In the mean time if they get their PNP interview or requirements, what happens to the decision? Do they provide you PNP decision on implied status or do they wait for visitor visa extension?

All thy say is "u shud have a legal status in canada" ... as far as i understand "implied" is a legal status

That must be wrong!
It is just only july now!! How could we wait for it much longer??

We now have July the 21.
This is 141 working days from 1st of January.
That would make 39 nominations per day or assuming 15 case officers are working on it without distraction and holiday, sick leave .... this is 2.6 nominations per day per case officer. Doesn't matter EE or regular. Just looking at 5500.
Somebody must think BC PNP is rather super efficient. ;D
 
No such news in bc pnp website .. plz dont spread fake news ... like Chetan said many of us fall into extnded stay catogry ... and such wrong info wud litrly shatter people like us

I think they start file number around 3800 this year.

Now, they are working around 4100.

How does it happen??

where did you get these news?

there are tons of people who are still waiting in Canada as visitor visa.

If the news is true, we have to back to our country.

did you get it from bc pnp office?

so, what is your point?

is that true? no more nominations this year?

they paused 90 days. and ee application have reached 2500.

I think roughly 1000.. got a nominations as regular stream this year.

I can't understand it totally.

where was the news from?

I'm not saying the quote is full. That's what Loyal is saying.
My little calculation does show that each case officer would have to do 2.6 nominations per day (assuming it is still 15 officers as I read a while ago) to have a quote of 5500 worked through from the 1st of January up to now. That is impossible.
From what I read on the Internet they manage about 3 per week per case officer.
Hence I would say there are still plenty of nominations in the sytem for this year.

If it's true, why they got more 200 applications after 90 days pause? it's insane.
