Finally received an email that I have been nominated under EEBC and got 600 points right away.

Yes 12 months is a long time to wait and pretty ridiculous considering it was 2-3 months to begin with! We are 10.5 months and now being told it could be 11-12 months. We emailed as soon as it got to the 10 month mark when the timeframe was 9-10 months and just got a response saying we are in a queue which is pretty obvious. It could go up again and again, it never seems to end! They can't expect peoples jobs to hold out waiting all this time. Can't believe they have put half a years applicants that have been waiting so long to the back so they can process people that have applied recently. There will be no spaces left for people that applied last year. Its been such a let down.

I have heard agents are Entertained in a better way. TheY might be able to get info on file.

Actually one of my friends told me that immigration agents who have previously got few pnp nominations have direct numbers of bc pnp agents. They can contact bc pnp agents on their numbers and can ask about file status.

Hi all
I had a response to my first E-mail I've sent them since I submitted my application in September 2014.
Asking why processing time has gone up again.
Their answer didn't address my question, however they are also saying due to so many requests via E-mail it is taking longer to process applications.

"We are processing applications as quickly as possible. An extremely high volume of applications in the past year and a high volume of inquiries to the pnpinfo email address mean that we are unable to process applications within the timelines originally provided to applicants on their Receipt of Application."

So perhaps let them get on with their work and less inquries???

Hey Chetans,

Actually immigration agents have numbers of bc pnp agents on their previously accepted files. They use those numbers to check for current applications which is ethically/professionally unacceptable. But people don't stop.
Otherwise it's better not to waste time of bc pnp by sending several requests rather let em work on our files.

Your file is still "received"? I really don't know how the officers review our documents. There are some august and september 2014 applicants who's file was already "assessment pending". But why does our application is still "received" even though we've submitted it ahead of time? Are they reviewing it by pointing system or by date of filing?
