56xx and still waiting.
I stopped trying to figure out how BC PNP is processing.
It's the luck of the draw as far as I'm concerned.
Having most likely more than one person processing nominations, it might depend on the speed of each of the person in processing their pile before being given another pile.
But what do I know.

Hi there, I've got few questions about my PNP.
I handed in my BCPNP in July 2014, but still waiting. Right now, I am thinking about switching to EEPNP, so here are my concerns:
1. My job title is under skill level B, what is the minimum score requirement for IELTS?
2. For the minimum 1 year working experience, do I have to work in a company for the entire year consecutively? or it could be different jobs but I've got 1 year working experience in total as full-time an employee ? and my previous job title is also under skill level B.

Many thanks ;)
Hi 1216,

I'm pretty sure the laguage requirement is CLB 5:

"Canadian Experience Class
The skills you need will depend on the group the job is classified in under the National Occupational Classification system (NOC). You must meet the minimum level for all four language abilities.

If your skilled work experience in Canada is in a

NOC 0 or A job, the minimum level is CLB 7 (English) or NCLC 7 (French).
NOC B job, the minimum level is CLB 5 (English) or NCLC 5 (French)."

You can find the language requirement from CIC website. Just google "Language requirements — Skilled immigrants (Express Entry)"

Hi,

I got my nomination letter on April 15th. The date of approval is March 31st.

My file number is 40xx. NOC B.

I will be qualified for express entry in June, so I will switch my nomination to express entry ASA I qualified.

I also had IELTS test on April 18th. After getting IELTS results on May 1st I will start working on my express entry profile.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get your express entry profile comlete? (including getting the job validation code, how long would it take?)

I also sent my residency application in July of 2014 as a BC PNP nominee. I received notice that my application was received in late Sept., and was sent the medical exam info the following day. Medical completed and received by Oct. 2014. I don't understand what is taking so long! I'm now wondering if it's worth pulling my application and applying under the EEPNP, as many on here have discussed. How do we know what is the right option to keep us in the country? ???

Hello guys!

Could you help me with one concern. Is there any chances to apply for open work permit visa as soon as u get your PNP? Does anybody knows about that stuff? I have closed work permit visa on a company (I've got it through LMO), I've got PNP, is there any chances to be still in a process but to quit a job and apply for open work permit?

Thanks!
