Got an email on Jan 6, 2015 giving me an option to apply for the Epres Entry.
Well, after 6 months waiting, 3 months without job and NO income, they suggest to fill out the addendum. I thought just a simple form. However, when I opened the PDF file, I started to laugh: they need education evaluation, which I did already in Burnaby and it was approved. But, that particular institution is not designated by the Ministry, so the fed gov suggests to spend another 200 dollars for another evaluation.
Also, they want the english test proficiency that costs 345 dollars here where I live and they offer it every 2 months.
I started to be bored to myself and people around me when they ask me when I would be back to work, cause my answer is always the same: "I dont know"....

I just did the English competency exam on Saturday. I am waiting on the results now before I can submit my express entry nomination I hadn't seen a need to do the educational evaluation on the checklist of requirements for my application hmmmmm interesting.

Yeah CanadaPc,
you are so right. And don't talk about ECA processing time... now we are so ahead to give up but sometimes... :-[
Your answer to your friends and collegues is the same i use for mine who ask me when i will leave from Rome: "I don't know..." But it's already a year and a half!

This forum can be used to give the strength each other.

So keep on going anyway and finger crossed!!!!!!!

Yes, unless you were educated in Canada. When did u submit your application to BC PNP?

Edit:
"Nominee applicants with foreign educational credentials, who have included the results of their Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) in their Express Entry profile, must provide a clear photocopy of their ECA."

So I guess it depends..

I sent them an email two days ago and they told me that are working on June applications. But as I have seen some July applications received nominations, I suppose they use to jump ahead looking for high demand NOC occupations or something similar.

Keep on waiting but I'm starting a new application for EE. Just in case to have two different opportunities.

I'm preparing a LMIA application with my prospective employer to support my job offer. I am NOC 7236 (or 7264 in the 2006 NOC grid) skill level B.
Is the Higher skilled workers form the right one? I have seen there is a ESDC service called "10- business day service standard" that allows some occupations in high demand (and Ironworkers is one of those) to be processed in TEN business day to meet employers needs.
Who knows something more about that service? Someone has already used it?

Thanks
