Hi everyone,

I'm preparing to apply for BC PNP via IPG stream after graduating from one of the qualified programs.

Would like to seek your advice, experience, and stories about the process and timeline.

1. How long does it take in recent BC PNP IPG since the application is submitted until getting the nomination with 600 pts in EE profile (assumed EE profile was ready before applying for BC PNP).
Some friends from the same stream got it within 1 week, even 2-3 working days, while recent updates are 1.5 - 2 months.

2. Have anyone applied for BC PNP directly from graduation, before applying for PGWP?
How about spouse's OWP and children's SP after applying? While all current Temporary Resident Permits will expire at the end of 2022, so we have to apply for OWP and SPs extension. How long is the validity for the new OWP and SPs while waiting for PR applications?

3. Does anyone have the current timeline after BC PNP until COPR? Taking into account 2.4m profiles in backlog.

Your kind assistance is greatly appreciated.

I recently applied to the EEBC international postgraduate and got the nomination in 1.5 months after I submitted my application. I could see the 600 points added in my EE profile a few days before I got the BC PNP email confirmation.

I never applied for PGWP, but I think It's better to get the work permit before applying to PR to show your legal status in Canada.

Hope this helps!

I applied for EEBC international graduate category, got ITA in February 2022, file submitted in March 2022, and received approval in June 2022, 600 points were added to my express entry file within a day, and received ITA to apply for PR on 22nd June.

I am currently on my Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) and employed in an NOC A-type job. I am eligible for the British Columbia PNP International Post-Graduate stream. My wife lives with me on a spousal open work permit. If I apply for permanent residency (PR) through the BC PNP International Post-Graduate stream, will my wife also be eligible to obtain PR with me?
