BC PNP International Graduate - Wage Requirements

Dear All,

I just got a job offer in Vancouver as an admin officer (NOC 1221-B) but my hourly wage is only $16/hr, which is above the low but below the median. And on BC PNP Guide, it's stated "Applications within Metro Vancouver is restricted to wage above $22/hr (median).

Could my BC PNP app under SI International Graduate be refused due to this?

I would suggest finding another job with a higher salary. $16 in BC is a low wage.

I actually got nominated with $16/hr. But keep in mind this was back in the beginning of 2018 when the points for all categories of BCPNP were pretty low. Things have changed a lot since then. I'm now a Permanent Resident
