Hi topguy, i believe everyone in this forum have received an acknowledgement receipt via email and another email stating that (This email is an update on your recently submitted application SO-12-1234 to the BC PNP Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) Backlog Reduction Pilot Project. The BC PNP finalized decisions on applications submitted under the pilot as of October 31, 2012. Decision notices are being mailed out and you can expect to receive one within the next 4 weeks. Please note the BC PNP does not send decisions by email. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.)

Perhaps, you could try to email BC Provincial Nominee Program pnpinfo@gov.bc.ca and find out whether your application was received.

Wish everyone of us in this segment will receive nomination letter... cheers!!!!!

@ interested::Let the nomination come first and we will discuss in detail. Below are the quick one's:

1) $550 fee for principal applicant and $550 for Spouse and $150 for every Kid...
2) Police certificate from your location and from the country you/Spouse have spent more than 6 months during last 10 years.
3) Birth certficate of all.
4) Xerox copy of Educational and Employment details
5) Nomination Letter from the state(BC)
6) Proof of Funds
7) Some forms available online--- bla bla bla---

And it may take 6-7 month once you send all the complete details to CIC office in Sydney(Canada)

Hi Ocir.b, thanks a lot for your information and advice.
I sent an email to them yesterday and got reply that "The FSW decisions were mailed out by our office within the last few days".
I am not sure it is merely a general reply to all inquirers or reply me based on my individual case because they did not confirm whether they recieved my application or not.

My application forms and required documents were sent out to BC Provincial Nominee Program on May 31 2012 through DHL( tracking no.XXXXXXXX ). Attached please find the shipment receipt.

According to the application procedure listed in your website, I should receive an ackowledgement receipt of my application. Unfortunately, I have not received such an acknowledgement until today (Dec 3 2012). Could you please update whether my application was received and the application status?

Hi Guys

I also received it yesterday. I am new to this forum.

@Punjabi: did you received a letter for open work permit too with the acceptance. I have received two letters, 1 for LOA and 2nd for open work permit request to CIC.

Also I have a baby now and her name is not included in the LOA.Also the address on it is a differene one than I am currently residing. But they have my new address in their records.

My questio is:

1- Do we need to apply for 2 years Open Work Permit? As I done want to apply for that. An will wait for the immigration process to complete.
2- How long is this immigration process?
3- What documents do I need to send?


Please share your views.

Yes i got 3 pages letter
But need to review all

I do not think so we need to apply the work permit , they clearlly said they issue the visa for 2 years and in mean while they are processing for PR

regarding Documents .... i need to check if you have any idea pls share.
but one document must required its PCC

I applied from Pakistan but moved to UK in 2009. received the FSW invitation in April 2012. Applied in June 2012, received LOA 4t Dec.

I am not interested in Open work Permit but will definitely pursue the immigration process.

Currently gathering documentations and forms. Need to apply for Police Certificate from Pak & UK. Do we need to send educational and experience certificates again. Do we need to certify the copies?

first thing i am also going to PCC . it will take the time 15-20 days in mean time i will collect all the document.. not sure which one is required
