I am new member in this forum, need your valuable suggestion as CIO has returned my complete application back to me mentioning incorrect method of fee payment. I am from Pakistan and submitted my fee in Standard Chartered Bank Islamabad on the payment slips provided by bank but CIO did not accept this method. Can you pls suggest how should i submit my application fee from Pakistan.

Sorry to hear that. I applied from London UK as residing there so very limited knowledge regarding application from Pakistan. As far as I know the process should be same for anybody no matter where was the applicant. What method did you used for payment. It should be either postal order or bank draft in canadian dollars in the name of " the receiver general for Canada" or by credit card. I think if you are doing initial application you can pay online aswell. The link to pay for online is below:

You need to make sure you submit the Fee Payment Form (IMM 5620) duely filled. I used bank draft for the payment.

I am bit confused about how to prepare a Bank draft in Canadian dollars?
OR it can be prepared from any bank where i have maintained my personal account in Pakistani Rupees. OR Do i need a account in Canadian dollars for the preparation of Bank Draft?
