Hurray I got AOR today finally but definitely a mistake in their email system. They received the packege on 28th but on AOR they saying they received the payment on 03rd Jan ( ) I have called my bank and draft is still outstanding..... strange.

extract from AOR email below:

This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment dated 3 Jan 2013 in the amount of 1,250.00 Canadian dollars. Your Payment Receipt No. is XXXXXXXXX . Please keep a copy of this letter for your records and quote this number on all correspondence relating to application fees or refunds.

I think they made a typo mistake............

I didn't understand all of it but I think I can answer...

Yes they will return your fee. The process is to fill the online application form as by the applicant in the following thread.

Thanks. the next step would be receiving Medical request and RPRF payments to your VO. Once all done than Passport request and finally visa issued....

Looking at your spreadsheet. It looks only the people within Canada has received Medicals else the Cairo Visa Office (VO).

By the way what do you mean by RPRF payments ?

Yes your observation is right that only canadian and cairo applicants received the MR. RPRF=Right for Permanent Residnce Fee.

I got AOR today March 4, 2013. Bankdraft encashed March 3, 2013.
I didnt realize they have bank during sundays coz march 3 is sunday. Anyway, im glad my docs were Ok and now being forwarded to local visa office.

Did you noticed something, me and you have exactly same timeline uptill now except that my VO is Lon and yours Manila. Lets c which VO sends MR quickly......

Yeah, i noticed we have same Received Date. Sounds like a computer system based processing. I saw such Software in one govt intsitition. It automatically queue the papers and each step triggers by the software.
