I've a question about Number of Full-time-equivalent Employees in BC.

According to BC PNP Program Guide P.50, If your employer is located within the Greater Vancouver Regional District, your employer must have at least five indeterminate, full-time employees (or full-time equivalents) in B.C. If your employer is located outside of the Greater Vancouver Regional District, your employer must have at least three indeterminate, full-time employees (or full-time equivalents) in B.C.

However, my company is a US based company, which allows all employees work remotely at home. Although the Canada branch is registered in BC, but there is no actually office, and only 3 employees are physically located in BC, many other staffs are work from home outside BC. As best to my knowledge, even the staffs in Toronto are also paying BC tax for their salary income, should we count them as employees in BC? I wonder did my company eligible for the BC PNP program?

Hi, It is a little tricky. I am still trying to understand the requirements. I have a question about the 'job offer' form that we will need from the eligible employer. I just got a new job 1 week ago and I plan to apply for BCPNP. In the employer requirement form, there is one tricky question in this form is - "Explain why the recruitment effort was unsuccessful in hiring a Canadian worker?" - It sounds like a big legal thing. Anyone has any suggestions to handle the answer to this question? How can I ask my new employer about this? Since I am very new to this job, I am nervous and scared to ask for this. Please advise!
