BC PNP+EE when do I get my first PR card

help please........my application was approved in may ,there is no update after final decision made....until got an email request new photos...online account status no change...
landing on: Aug.31
sent new photos: Oct 13th
received :Oct 19th
Booked a flight to US on Dec.20 ,2017, I really don't want to cancel my flight.
Would you guys suggest that I may receive my firs PR Card before the 20th?

It's possible you'll receive it by the 20th, but if not, you can apply for a PRTD so you do not have to cancel your flight.

Thank you very much. PRTD has to apply from outside of Canada. I am currently working in Canada, just fly to US for few days. I assume there is not enough time for me to apply TD in the U.S.....so frustrated...
 
Where are you in Canada and where are you traveling to in the US? Is flying from your US location to a border state airport & driving across the border an option?

well, I am in Vancouver and fly to LA on dec. 20th and come back to Vancouver on 26th. I didn't know that there would not be a problem traveling by car cross the border before book my nonrefundable flight ticket.....

Depending on the airline, you could possibly see about changing the return flight to Seattle, then driving across or having someone pick you up if possible.

Yeah, my friends told me that. but sadly I probably could get people to come to pick me up in Seattle. I am just thinking if I got on the plane and show up at Canadian airport/border, won't the custom just let me in? I am officially Canadian PR though....

If you are able to reach Canadian border, CBSA will let you in, even you don't have PR card.

However, the problem is that how to convince your airline to give you a boarding pass to Canada.

good question.... I am on work permit...not sure if I just show my work visa, although that big paper for my work permit has been taken away when I did landing...
