Hi

I am planning to apply for BC PNP EE - International Post-graduate program. The program guide and BC PNP website's info section says I need to have graduated from BC within 3 years; however, when I actually tried to apply to the program, it was written in the online application procedure that I need to have graduated from BC within 2 years. I was wondering which info is right?

Whatever the current program guide says governs everything. I believe that it says so within that document.

Do you guys know after I get nominated, does my EE profile update automatically or by me? One of my friends said it is automatic one said they give you about 1 month to update

The same day my nomination was approved, I received notice that I had mail in my CIC account. Upon checking my mail in my account there were 600 points there but you have to accept the nomination within your profile to have that 600 points added to your existing score. It's not automatic. However, you have 30 days to accept the nomination in you CIC account.

Does anyone has ever tried to extend this 30 days to 2-3 months if needed?

I am uncertain about the processing time. My friends who were in Canada when they applied took less than a week to nominate; however, the website says 2-3 months processing time. I am applying from outside Canada and I currently have no status in Canada. I was wondering how long would it take for mine to process?

This is particularly important for me because I don't have my US PCC and even though I have applied for it 1.5 month ago, it may take long to obtain it. So, I am concerned if they nominate me quickly I get ITA (for EE) sooner than I can. On the other hand I don't want to wait 3 months for US PCC to get ready and then wait another 3 months for BC PNP.

FBI check is very long at 4-5 months I believe the website says for non-US persons. My nomination took about a week as well. One way to extend it out would be to accept the nomination in CIC on the last day (this will give you 1 month). Then you will have to wait for ITA during next draw which can be just a few days to a month give or take. Once you receive that ITA then you have 90 days (I believe) to submit your completed PR application. If everything run accordingly then you would have extended your PR application by 4-5 months and by then you should receive your FBI report (hope they don't reject your prints).
