BC PNP - BOWP, Can i apply BOWP if I applied PNP through employer job offer?

Hello,
I am going to apply BC PNP via a job offer from my employer, but I want to apply for BOWP, so would I be eligible for that? If I apply it through a job offer from employer, would I be restricted to work for him?

I have a job offer from a BC employer, and according to this link

you don't need to wait until 4 months are left on work permit to apply for BOWP, while the other links say the opposite, but this link says nothing about 4 months.

So have you been nominated and applied for PR? If not, no. Is it through EE?

Yes, I am in the process of nomination and will apply for EE post that, consider that to be done, that I have applied in EE with BC PNP nomination. Now I need a BOWP

So you don’t even received the nomination and you are looking for a BOWP with another employer already? Are you in Canada?


If you applied for the Provincial Nominee Program via Express Entry
To be eligible for a BOWP, you must:

• live in Canada (Quebec not included)
• either
  • have a valid work permit
  • have an expired work permit but maintained your status as a worker
  • be eligible to restore your status and get a work permit
• be the principal applicant on your permanent residence application
• have no employment restrictions as a condition of your nomination
• have submitted a complete application for permanent residence and passed the completeness check
• have your acknowledgement of receipt letter
  • we send this letter to your account after we get your application

As I said, I am in the process, just collecting documents, just consider I have received my nomination and applied for EE. Just consider this case for my question, as that is fixed, I am just collecting documents from my employer. The question is can I apply for a BOWP or not? After submitting my EE profile and getting an AOR?

No you are not eligible if you are not living in Canada.

If you have no employment restrictions…your nomination is based on a job offer and working for that employer. If you don’t, your PR application can be revoked.

I can have a nomination based on a job offer and working for that employer and have no employer restrictions right? Is this possible in case of a job offer?

I think it would take 3 months for you, for us the tech pilot program is there, and it goes a month faster than the normal timeline.
