I got approval on my application last week. I plan to fly out next week, and was just wondering what the BC healthcare system is like, can I apply when I go over and be covered instantly? Is there a long processing time? Should I get some insurance if that is the case?

1. There is a 3 month waiting period for BCMSP. So I suggest that you get private med insurance for those 3months.

Do you know how much it would cost to get private insurance monthly?

I'm from the UK, I guess ive always taken free healthcare for granted!
