Got approved today on Feb 24 under skills catogary.
Applied on Nov 15.
File# received on Feb 06.
Totally 14 weeks.

Feb 3: Documents requested
Feb 4: Nomination & support letter received (exactly 12 weeks)
Feb 13: TWP issued at Peace Arch!

Still waiting for the official approval package to arrive in the mail.

I got an email from PNP saying my application was approved, as well as a PDF copy of the support letter. I wasn't 100% sure if I needed to wait for the official package to arrive before going down to the border, but since the email said it would take about 3 weeks, I decided to go down without it anyway because I was in a hurry to get back to work. Luckily the officials were satisfied with just the e-mail and the PDF support letter - they didn't even ask for anything else (well, obviously they wanted to see my job offer, employer recommendation etc., but still). Hope this helps.

How exactly can I be unsure...? The advisor assigned to my case at the PNP office first sent me an e-mail, asking for copies of a couple of my personal documents, which I e-mailed back the same day. The following day he sent me another e-mail, basically saying congratulations and telling me that I've been nominated, and attached was the support letter. The official decision, which includes the original certificates and other documents, will arrive later by mail. Either the PNP advisors have varying policies regarding sending out information (which may be possible, but I doubt it) or your lawyer doesn't know what he's talking about.

hi guys. i sent in my application on November 20th. It was received the same day. i received my AOR on February 7th. Today (25th Feb), my employer got a phone call and had a short interview.

Is this a good sign? If I should get my nomination, which is the best work permit to apply for. Im in the country with wife and daughter, so whatever I apply for has to include them. What are my best options?

Hey jazzysohal, same problem here. I also submitted the old forms after Nov 15th. received file number on Feb 14th. On their website they say application with old forms after Nov 15th will not be accepted and will be returned. Do you think it will happen? So afraid of that happening.

my package also received on 18 th nov. so we r on same date. keep sharing ur status. which forms did u filled up because on 15 th nov they updated new forms. old forms or new ones u submitted
