Please update your information regularly related to your BC PNP application. if anyone is not in the this chart who applied BC PNP from APRIL to OCT. 2014. Please let me know your timeline so i could add you in the list to figure out how they processing BC PNP application nows a days. hopefully they are reviewing at least 20-25 files everyday.

I can hear you...I have received AOR on July 22, and still no aswer, it will nearly 3 months....I got in mail 5-6 months, now they have changed to 8 months...what does than mean though? it will affect us or people who have received 8-9 months in their AOR email?
It is sooo frustrating....I had to stop working last week only because I dont have that letter, now I dont have income coming in and you cannot contact anybody over the phone...I m wondering why they dont make priorities with clients whose work permit expired....its just so frustrating....

Yes it's very frustrating. Nothing worse than it being outwith our control. I take it you are now on a visitor visa? How are you're work with you having to take time off?

I think that even though when you applied it was 5-6 months and now it has increased you will be looking at a longer wait unfortunately. It seems things slow down as they are putting the new applications into the system and taking payments and have had a large increase in applications.

They don't make any priorities and say it's up to you to keep your status. We have been going back in forth with them for 6 weeks now to see if there is anything we can do but there is nothing. We did get through to them today and they said they are now processing May and are taking into consideration the fact that people are having to leave due to the long processing times so aslong as you keep your status that is good. You have to keep calling and eventually some one will pick up.

My visa expires next month and we are unable to wait 6+ months with no job so are having to go back to the UK which really sucks but only choice we have Fingers crossed they don't increase it anymore.

Hey,

You don't need to be employed but as long as your work take you back. Preferably if you get an open job offer from them but if not (which is our situation) if your work still support your application this may work. The PNP will call and ask your employer more questions. From this they assess if you are an asset and will make the decision based on this. Ultimately it is easier if they can provide the open job offer but if not it isn't the end of the road. We have been going through this over the past 2 months and have found this out. Due to the processing times of 8-9 months a lot of people are going to be in this situation where they need to quit work and wait it out unfortunately.

Another point is if you are on an IEC you can't extend this as stated on the CIC website. You have to quit your work and go on visitor status until you receive your letter of eligibility.

hi every one ,i send my application on aug18,and get me aor on sep 10,in that time the website on cic show current waiting time was 5-6 month and now its change to 8-9 month,so i need to wait for 9 month or 6 month? hope some one can give me the answer ,its so long for waiting 9 month

So the PNP office call your employer and ask questions? Well, if they are currently processing applications from May, who knows when people from July 22 will get their turn, lol, this is bad...I had to stop working last Friday...I put the clothing on yesterday and then realized that I am not going to work any more....I almost cried....I heard that PNP is very popular program for PR, now it doesnt seem like to me any more with so much waiting time....Now instead of January, deadline is March or April....I m thinking about going back to the cruise ship because its hard without income....Big change people....big change...

Hey sorry to hear Canada PC, remember it's 8-9 montshs just to get the nomination, then there's another app after that. Not sure what the Govt is planning but I know its hard for those affected

I am graduated from ontario in hospitality
Do i need any experience (apprenticeship) or trade certificate to apply for BC pnp in Noc 7291
Or i can apply right now with job letter with minimum pay....

Hi guys,

I applied for bc pnp on July 29th and I received AOR on August 7th.. I was told that the current wait(at that moment) was going be 5-6months and now they're saying it's going to be 8-9months... Sigh...

Will I be able to receive the decision in 5-6months since the day I received AOR or is it going to be 8-9months?

Either way, it's going to be sometime next year most likely. And I was wondering how the new system (express entry) is going to affect my case. Any idea?
