Hey guys, i got an email today asking for more information. Here's my updated timeline.

Welshy SO-14-340*. 12 June 2014. 10 July 2014. [ASKING Docs .12 JAN 2015] Still waiting.

Pretty much 7 months to the day from when I Applied.

I have send copies of 4 CIC forms (generic application,background,economic,additional family) to BC PNP on June 2 ,2014 and the form was dated June 2, 2014. I want to submit my application to CIO, Novascotia...just wondering do I have to fill up new application and sign and date of today OR I send the original documents which were dated June 2 2014 ?

i have already submitted my application to CIO-Nova Scotia. so my advise to you that you should fill up the latest forms and update your latest information in the form.

I got my BCPNP approval package by mail yesterday. So exciting!!!

Approval package sent by BCPNP office: Jan 15, 2015
Approval package received by mail: Jan 16, 2015

Earlier today I went to the peace arch border crossing to apply for a work permit (my current PGWP will expire in March). But the officer said they will only issue me a new one when my current work permit will expire within 1-2 weeks. That's really weird.

Quick Question guys. If i return to my home country and wait it out what happens to my PNP application? Does it continue to be processed? Assuming it is approved can i then request a work permit support letter and return to Canada and apply for a Work Permit?

Got my support letter and informal approval over e-mail yesterday!

Application received by PNP office: July 11, 2014
AOR received: July 22 2014
Support letter received by email: Jan 20, 2015
Haven't received the package in the mail yet though.
Skilled worker. NOC 2174

Very happy as our work permits expire on Feb 18.

The annoying thing is that we just sent our applications to stay as visitors on Sunday, basically wasted $200 Is there any way I can withdraw that application and get a refund or use those $200 towards our work permit applications?

Did they call you for the verification of your employment? what job category you applied for? skilled or semi skilled?
