I am really sorry to bother you, but I am not clear about how to get restoration letter ? Did you applied for this letter to CIC ? is this some kind of proof that you are within the 90 days of the work permit expiration ?

I am explaining you a restoration status.

My Work Post graduation work Permit expire on August 15, 2014. before it's expired i applied for work permit extension (Paper based application) So i can work legally on implied status, after two month my work permit extension file reviewed and i got work permit extension refusal letter, in this refusal letter, they wrote you have 90 day's to restore your status. (The 90 day's period is call the "Restoration Status")


Explanation.

What is implied status?
Answer: when you submit work permit extension application, before few days of it's expires, you will have a implied status, and you are allowed to work legally under the same condition of your last work permit.

But be sure that, your work permit extension application should be receive to the CIC work permit office, at least 1 days before your current work permit expire.

Why i have filed paper based application?
Answer if you file paper based application, you get more time, because paper based application processing time is more then online application. (I want to buy more time on implied status, so i filled paper based application and got almost 55 days, but it varies time by time and you have to check the processing time on CIC website)

How you would prove that you have implied status ?
Answer: when you applied work permit extension to the CIC Office, you will on a implied status automatically, but you need a certain document to be saved, like
1: receipt for CIC work permit extension Fee
2:Canada post receipt that you have sent work permit extension application to CIC Office (Always use Canada Post Express Service with tracking Number, its very important to have a tracking number on it)
3. Print/print screen tracking details form Canada post website, and save it safely on your computer.


Attention! Important Information

I gave this information based on my Case, because i gone through this all process and got my BC PNP on restoration status. i have applied on Entry level semi-skilled category.

But you need to know that, BC PNP asses every case based on your application, your document and BC PNP requirement, So might be my case is just like you, but end result would be different. So you have to be careful on every stage of your application, and be informed about updated information on CIC and BC PNP website and act quickly and don't miss any deadline. Plan your backup always before it gone worst.

GOD is always with us, so never loose your hope, everything will be happen good with you.

I will always suggest you to call CIC contact no, they will help you a lot, and give you a correct information.

No update. Went into their office yesterday and was told they are looking into files up to 2850 so at least some one should be actually looking at my file.
I haven't worked since middle of September so I am eagerly awaiting approval.

I though we can apply new work permit with the nomination letter from BCPNP. I do not understand why we need Work permit support letter from BC PNP for what.?

Please update your information regularly related to your BC PNP application. if anyone is not in the this chart who applied BC PNP from APRIL to OCT. 2014. Please let me know your timeline so i could add you in the list to figure out how they processing BC PNP application nows a days. hopefully they are reviewing at least 20-25 files everyday.

Work permit support letter only issued once your PNP approved, They email work permit support letter for immediate apply for work permit or work permit extension, mean while you are waiting for your nomination package by mail.

I do not have any information about apply new work permit with nomination letter from BC PNP. but i will suggest to get work permit support letter from BC PNP, and also include BC PNP nomination certificate copy and apply for work permit, just for the safer side.
