I got an email saying I have been approved and they also attached my support letter that I can take to the border to apply for a temporary work permit while I am waiting for the CIC processing for my permanent residency. They said that I will get my approval package in the mail in the next couple of weeks.

The document they asked for was from my employer, they wanted to know how they had advertised for the position.

Thomw85 i applied for Work Permit Extension but i got refusal last week they sent me email that show you have 90 days to restore your status. Right now i am on restrotation status, i have a question do i have to apply for Visitor, Temporary Resident Visa, because my file no is 274+ and is going to review next month and right now i dont have Work permit and Visa.

All I can say is what I have done I don't know what is best. My work permit expired 29 august I applied for extension which was denied 18 September. I then applied online for visitor visa cost $200. My application is 281+ so not too far behind you. I am hoping to be working again early to mid November.

If you are in Vancouver I have found it very helpful going to the PNP office and asking them. They only respond with generic and unhelpful e mails.

Hey you need to send in application for extension before your visa expires. It will get denied with out PNP approval but whilst it is processing you will have implied status. Send it by mail. This will buy you an extra 39 days.
I did this got denied and am now on visitor visa whilst awaiting pnp approval.

Yes you can continue working with implied status. You will get an email when they make their decision and in my case I had to stop work.

I am graduated from ontario in hospitality
Do i need any experience (apprenticeship) or trade certificate to apply for BC pnp in Noc 7291
Or i can apply right now with job letter with minimum pay....

If nobody has answer for you here. At least try going to immigration lawyer. They can give you some guidance.

today they also ask some document from my employer like tax, pay stubs etc.
i m so worried.......hopefully this monday my employer will send those documents what ever they requested.........!! wish you good luck all ...!!

Please update your information regularly related to your BC PNP application. if anyone is not in the this chart who applied BC PNP from APRIL to OCT. 2014. Please let me know your timeline so i could add you in the list to figure out how they processing BC PNP application nows a days. hopefully they are reviewing at least 20-25 files everyday.

Good morning all! Congratulations to all, who are receiving some info! What I cannot understand is, how people, that have applied after me have already been notified and even have received their package by mail. How can it be, that some applicants receive an info and documents by mail and when I phone at the PNP office, they won't even take a look into my file? The only thing I keep hearing is: You need to be patient, we do not inform you by email, wait for our info in the post. GOOD BYE....
This situation is one of the worst I have been in and I just hope, that they do get some kind of info out to me ASAP. Does anyone here know : Would it help, if my (future) employer goes to the PNP office in person and requests an update on the application?

I would agree with the other response. Because you are so specific I feel the best advice you will get will be from an immigration lawyer. It will cost you $100 but will be well worth it. Most people on here are just saying about thier experiences unless someone has the exact NOC code as you any advice would just be hear say.

Saying to be eligible for skilled PNP you need to be in O, A or B category. All information about that can be found on PNP website.

Lawyer is saying i m eligible right now without experience
But some friends told me i need experience in this NOC
Thats why i m asking me should i go with lawyer
But no one is helping me here
